Erik Lundqvist, organist at the Stockholm Concert Hall, 1969-20012, while organist at the Gustav Vasa Church, was educated at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. Extensive international concert activities often with Swedish repertoire. Many radio and gramophone recordings. Responsible for the Stockholm Organ Festival.

Often engaged in the jury at the international organ competitions and lecturer on Swedish music at foreign music academies. Member of the Royal Academy. Academy of Music in 1983 and the passive member of the Society of Swedish Composers.
